These beautifully handcrafted pieces are made using pre-Columbian motifs to create new and unique modern designs of outstanding beauty and quality. The designer Melba Palmeri, from the Guajira desert of Colombia, intends to recapture the tradition of the jeweler's Wayuu Indians with a contemporary turn. Each piece is handmade in Columbia by local artists, helping preserve the artisan techniques of their ancestors. The spectacular semi-circular cuff employs a circular and braided motif, creating an open, almost basketwork-like appearance. Cuff is 3.25" wide at widest part.
